Welcome
Excel 9-1-1 is a company that provides training and professional services to the public safety communications industry. Our personnel have at least 20 years of experience in the field of public safety communications. We have assisted in setting national standards for the industry and our professional services personnel have vast experience in the technical and operational aspects of 9-1-1.
At Excel 9-1-1, Inc., we understand the unique nature of emergency communications because we have all been there, serving as call takers, dispatchers, supervisors, trainers, and directors. We complement our industry insight with extensive backgrounds in not only training course and presentation delivery but also in curriculum research and design.
We offer both classroom-based and online training, and comprehensive instructional materials designed so that experienced trainers can focus their efforts on training delivery. We have fully developed instructor guides, student manuals, digital slide presentations and reference material for ADA & TTY training courses.
We have a passion for and are dedicated to improving public safety communications services throughout the country.
Our Values
- We are committed to excellence in training.
- We believe that the best technology in the world cannot replace the critical decisions and actions made every second by 9-1-1 call takers, telecommunicators, and dispatchers; and
- We believe that effective training is the key to emergency telecommunicators being prepared to save lives.
Our staff has volunteered thousands of hours of our time working with both APCO and NENA to set industry standards. We continue that work today and bring that wealth of experience and commitment to the projects we pursue.
